PRESENTATION

We are coming to the end of another year, on one hand with the sadness for the loss of our loved ones, as well as friends, acquaintances, and all those who were victims of the terrible pandemic that still devastates a good part of the world. On the other side with hope, of better days, of those who continue to live, comforting those who had irreparable losses.

It was and is no different among us who "make" the GPs, and that despite so many difficult moments we continue with our mission, which began a little more than 16 months ago, to gather, study, research, and seek answers to many questions, especially for the causes and consequences of the pandemic.

This was the path we found when we created the GPs, in the middle of the pandemic, the path of research and publications, making it possible for students and professionals to seek answers to many scientific questions about the main events that affected people around the world from June 2020 to December 2021.

And for this to be possible we held five scientific meetings, presenting research and publications, involving at least 1,000 academics and professionals in more than 250 hours of courses, mini-courses, lectures, debates, meetings, communications and scientific presentations.

In addition to other academic and scientific moments that involved at least 200 academics and professionals in more than 100 h of lectures, mini-courses, pre-qualifications and qualifications of master's and doctoral projects, master's and doctoral defenses, debates, meetings, communications and scientific presentations.
The members of the GPs, in this short period, have published two books and contributed to the publication of more than twenty e-books, and have published more than a dozen scientific articles in international journals.
This allows us to affirm that we have fulfilled our purposes, reached our goals and objectives, and we believe we are on the right track.
Finally, we would like to welcome all the participants of the 5th Research & Publications Meeting of the GPs, and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, full of Health, Peace, Prosperity and Achievements together with your families.
